Resolutions Passed 2007-08

Resolution 29 - Resolution of the SGA of NKU in support of the tuition proposal for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Resolution 28 - Resolution that the SGA of NKU to allocate $1,000 of the SGA budget every year to the Anne Braden Memorial Scholorship.
Resolution 27 - Request of a Women's Center on the Highland Heights Campus of Northern Kentucky University.
Resolution 26 - Request that the University purchase additional laptops to be placed in Steely Library.
Resolution 24 - Request of a take-out foods program in Norse Commons to begin the fall semester of the 2009-2010 school year.
Resolution 19 - Request that Julie Bridewell be recognized for her hard work and dedication to the Legacy Fund Committee.
Resolution 18 - Recommendation to NKU Administration to purchase and additional cash-to-card machine.
Resolution 17 - Request funding for Registrar for a program that allows NKU diplomas to be made available in other languages and accent marks be provided for student names.
Resolution 16 - Request for an additional $25,000 to fund Club Sport Organizations.
Resolution 15 - Adopt a policy for mandating the distribution of midterm grades for all Northern Kentucky University students.
Resolution 14 - Recommend the Food Advisory Committee approves installation of a soft serve ice cream machine in Norse Commons cafeteria.
Resolution 13 - Request administration to expand student health insurance options.
Resolution 12 - Request that wireless internet access be made available for University Housing in it entirety.
Resolution 11 - Place more recycling bins on the Highland Heights campus.
Resolution 10 - Recommend to NKU administration that funds be allocated to the Student Retention and Assenssment Office to successfully continue the SGA Retention Award Program.
Resolution 9 - Establish a Norse Hockey Club shuttle.
Resolution 8 - Create a taskforce to assess the need for a new campus recreation facility.
Resolution 7 - Place banners on lamp posts around campus that show Norse pride.
Resolution 6 - Request funding for the establishment of mile markers along walking paths on the Highland Heights campus.
Resolution 5 - Coordinate with the University Administration to name the Student Section of athletic events.
Resolution 4 - Requesting the University to paint outdoor concrete steps in school colors.
Resolution 3 - Allocate four full year parking pass grants to full-time students.
Resolution 2 - More dynamic signage on campus roadways and high traffic areas.

Resolution 1 - Request administration to purchase a wheelchair equipped van
Resolution 2 - Allocate $5,000 to supplement the purchase of an electronic marquee
Resolution 4 - Allocate $1,000.00 to co-sponsor the Alumni Lecture Series
Resolution 5 - Allocate $1,000.00 to match Follett and award no more than twenty $100 book grants
Resolution 6 - Allocate no more than $400 to split the cost of an advertisement with Vice President of Student Affairs Office to inform the student body of the new laptops now available for use in the University Center
Resolution 10 - Allocate $1,500 to co-sponsor the Chris Brown concert held by APB
Resolution - Allocate $5,000 for the installation of the LED sign
