President

IFC Constitution, Article VI Section 1

  1. The President shall preside over all IFC Meetings.
  2. He shall be responsible for fairly and equally enforcing the Constitution and By-Laws of the InterFraternity Council upon its council chapters and members.
  3. He shall work with appropriate university officials to promote the InterFraternity Council and the Greek Community in a positive image to the Northern Kentucky University campus and community.
  4. He shall offer the deciding vote in any stalemate decision.

Executive Vice President

IFC Constitution, Article VI Section 2

  1. The Executive Vice President shall serve as the chair of any IFC Meetings, should the President of IFC be unable to preside in his office.
  2. He shall be responsible for communicating on a weekly basis with the Vice Presidents to ensure the continued growth and development of IFC sponsored programs and events.
  3. He shall assist the Vice President of Judicial Affairs in coordinating trials to be held for any chapters or members that have violated judicial policies within the IFC Constitution and By-Laws.
  4. He shall assist the President in all affairs involving IFC and the Greek Community at Northern Kentucky University.

Vice President of Communication

IFC Constitution, Article VI Section 3

  1. The Vice President of Communication shall record minutes during each official IFC Meeting and be responsible for distributing these minutes to the officers, delegates and members of the IFC.
  2. He shall be responsible for the continued financial stability of the organization by coordinating dues payments and additional expenses/receivable payments into the organizationís financial account.
  3. He shall assist the IFC by coordinating individual chapter roster collections with said chapters.

Vice President of Philanthropy

  1. The Vice President of Philanthropy shall be responsible for coordinating and facilitating a semester philanthropy project for the entire IFC Community at NKU. This project shall support the core value of the university, to promote public engagement on campus in support of the surrounding community.
  2. He shall be responsible to facilitate all promotional work involving said project and to work with member chapters to have increased participation each semester.

Vice President of Scholarship

  1. The Vice President of Scholarship shall be responsible for coordinating the scholarship reports for each of the chapter along with the Greek Advisor. Specifically the VP of Scholarship shall assist in coordinating the IFC averages for the member chapters.
  2. He shall assist in developing an ongoing program to assist fraternity members and council chapters in raising their semester and cumulative averages.
  3. He shall coordinate scholastic suspensions for chapters that have not met the minimum requirements to retain active status with the university (2.250 GPA).

Vice President of Membership

  1. The Vice President of Membership shall be responsible for coordinating the recruitment and retention activities of the member chapters of the IFC.
  2. He shall be responsible for facilitating all marketing materials and promotional events for IFC Fraternity Recruitment periods.
  3. He shall assist in coordinating the collection of bids and grade verification cards from all new members.
  4. He shall promote a positive and healthy experience for all new members in every member chapter by providing helpful programming and support for the retention of new member classes in each fraternity.

Vice President of Judicial Affairs

  1. The Vice President of Judicial Affairs shall preside over all judicial matters by enforcing the Constitution and By-Laws of the IFC and by supporting the President in all judicial endeavors with council chapters and members.
  2. He shall be responsible for delivering all judicial sentences to trial members.
