CSF study for Spring 2010:

The Grace of God

There is an old book titled Grace Is Not a Blue-Eyed Blond.  Sometimes, perhaps, but not in this case.  When all is considered, there are really just two ways to approach God.  This assumes, of course, that you would like to approach God rather than just ignore Him.  But assuming you do want to approach God, you might just take this route:  I'm being as good as I can, better than some.  If that's not good enough, then I will do some more.

This semester at CSF we will see what is wrong with that approach to God, and we will explore another approach to God, one the Bible calls "grace."  Grace (maybe not the blue-eyed blond, though I would hate to say anything definite without meeting her!) is wierd, wild, and wonderful.

Of course, there are many details to this matter of grace, and we will cover them all this semester at CSF.  Even if Christianity is "old hat" to you, you might find it useful to join us this semester as we explore the grace of God.
