Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society: Mu Iota (1993)

Main goals: Encourage scholarship, promote education of scientific information, support biological research, and encourage publication of research in BIOS!!

Membership:

Associate Member: $40 (this one time fee includes $35 National and $5 Chapter fees)

a). Undergraduates whose interests include the life sciences in some significant way, but who are ineligible for regular membership.

b) No major or GPA requirement

c) Membership expires after graduation

Regular Member: $50 or only $10 for upgrade from associate (this one time fee includes $45 National and $5 Chapter fees)

a) Undergraduate majors in biological science

b) Shall have completed at least three term courses in biological science, of which at least one is not an introductory course, with an average grade of B or its equivalent in those biology courses.

c) Shall be in good academic standing.

d) Membership for life

e) Receives an honor cord at graduation

Volunteer: Each month you will have the

opportunity to volunteer at a new place with BBB.

Fundraising: We raise money to help pay for our student researchers to present at annual regional meetings and biennual national meetings. This year’s fundraising ideas: bake sales, locker rentals, sell lab coats, and more!
