ELECTIONS

    Elections will be held every year during the fall semester.  Candidates will be nominated throughout the fall semester.  New officers will be initiated into their office position towards the end of the fall semester of every academic year.

BYLAWS

      1.  Candidates can only run for one position of the executive office.
      2.  No more than two officers can be elected from the same country of citizenship.
      3.  Minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for running in elections.
      4.  An officer can be terminated due to the lack of performance by 2/3 of the majority vote of the executive officers.

MEETINGS

      1.  The Union meetings will be held bi-weekly unless otherwise needed.
      2.  The attendance of all the officers is required (3 absences are allowed).
      3.  The time of the meetings will be set by the second week of each semester. Committee meetings will be held as scheduled.

AMENDMENTS AND RATIFICATION

    This constitution can be amended and ratified at any time by 2/3 of the majority vote of the members in attendance during the ratification.  The copy of the ratified constitution is to be kept in the Office of Student Life.
